Unique Chemistry

The L91 features a specialized Lithium Iron-Disulfide chemistry (LiFeS2) that gives it not only superior power compared to average primary batteries, but incredible reliability, able to perform extreme high and low temperatures. A higher operating current and flatter discharge curve allows the cell to perform better for longer periods of time than ordinary alkaline batteries and is even notably better to other types of Lithium cells. The battery's Lithium chemistry is also remarkably safe, with superior leak resistance and making unstable chemicals like lead and mercury obsolete.
